Reading and writing skills in Finnish language

• The purpose of the education is to learn the basic skills in Finnish language; reading and writing
• Our intention is also to help you to integrate into Finnish society and to get skills for further studies, eg. basic school education for adults, or for working life
• You will study Finnish language, cultural- and social studies, computer- and information skills and other optional studies

Finnish language, level A

• You will study Finnish language, cultural and social studies, working life competence, computer- and information skills, and other optional studies according to the curriculum
• You will also have practical training on spring term
• Starting level 0 – A1
• Target level A2.1 – A2.2
• The aim of the education is to help you integrate into the Finnish society and to get skills for further studies or working life

Finnish language, level B

• You will study Finnish language, cultural and social studies, working life competence, computer- and information skills, and other optional studies according to the curriculum
• You will also have practical training on spring term
• Starting level A2.2
• Target level B1.1 – B1.2
• The aim of the education is to help you integrate into the Finnish society and to get skills for further studies or working life

Accommodation

Students live in two-person-rooms. Adults have an opportunity to stay over weekends at our dormitory.

Studying fees

Studies, meals and accommodation are free of charge

• if your studies are part of the integration program made by te- toimisto (public employment and business services)
•  if you have residence permit (status A) in Finland (training voucher education)

• 250 € / month (incl. studies and meals during weekdays)
• 385 € / month (incl. studies, meals and accommodation during weekdays)
• accommodation during weekends: 10 € / weekend
